
Men's Varsity Eight Finishes Fourth in Preliminary Heat, Repechage at Dad Vail

Philadelphia - The Drexel Men's Varsity Eight boat finished in fourth place in a preliminary heat at the Dad Vail Regatta and finished fourth in the repechage race later in the day.
The Dragons finished with a time of 6:25.34 in the preliminary heat. Grand Valley won the heat with San Diego earning the other semi-final berth. The University of Rochester took third place while Ohio University finished fifth.
In the repechage, the Dragons took fourth place with a time of 6:22.84. Loyola came in first place at 6:08.54 while Mason took second place with a time of 6:10.54. Rhode Island crossed the finish line third with a time of 6:16.07 while Michigan State took fifth at 6:33.07.
